Cleaning and Maintenance Guide
Precautions for Hand-Painted Shoe Cleaning and Maintenance
1. Hand wash only; water temperature should not exceed 40 degrees Celsius.
2. Generally, hand-painted items should not be bleached, tumble dried, or exposed to direct sunlight; air drying naturally is best.
3. When washing, use a toothbrush or soft-bristled brush; do not use a hard-bristled brush to scrub vigorously to avoid damaging the fabric fibers, especially on the painted areas, as this can affect the color of the hand-painted design.
4. Hand-painted items must not come into contact with solvents, acids, alkalis, oils, or other corrosive substances; avoid washing with soap powder or soap.
5. When not wearing hand-painted items, they should be properly stored and maintained.
6. When drying, wrap with tissue paper to prevent yellowing; this method can also be used for other canvas shoes!
